The Economy

I am committed to making our community more affordable for working and middle-class families. I aim to lower property taxes, cut the red tape that’s burdening small businesses and attract new businesses.

Union Jobs

I am a firm believer that union jobs are the backbone of a strong middle class. Unions allow workers to fight for fair compensation, security, and their future.

Public Safety

Mohan believes that keeping our neighborhoods safe starts with investing in the people who protect us, which includes better training and building trust and collaboration with community organizations.

Health

Staten Island has long been underserved, with far fewer hospital beds than any place in the city. I am calling for the creation of a new public hospital, expanding rehabilitation services for those battling opioid addiction, and improving healthy outdoor community spaces.

The City's Worst Commute

I know the everyday difficulties of travelling off the island for work. I will work to improve Staten Island Rapid Transit and STOP congestion pricing.

Community Improvements

I plan to invest in youth and senior services by expanding literacy programs, funding adult recreation centers, and creating pathways to opportunity through youth employment and vocational training.
